What will happen if we expand the read distance from 3cm to 3m?All the others keep the same:13.56Mhz,NFC forms,ISO14443A/B protocol and cellphone -operatable.

Recently,a team from Alibaba has made it through years of works.Comparing with the traditional NFC communication,the new version has a stable read distance in any direction,which has reached as long as 3 m.According to the Dr.Liu,the head of the Alibaba cloud network research team,the new NFC technology can work well in the standard environment,so does the harsh environment like the liquid and metal,which it’s considered as the sigal-killer in the RFID area.

Some warehouse and logistics center located in Zhejiang province has showed their interest to apply this new technology.In a traditional logistics center,the daily check-in and out works has to be finished by worker manually or through a big&heavy barcode and visual identity machine.When coming to the new NFC technology,the center can easily complete high-precision sensor scanning of hundreds of packages at a safety distance which can reach 3m.

It still takes time before the new NFC technology has been widely applied.
