Passive RFID in the indoor location system

Passive RFID presents a possibility that we can timely master the flows of items in the precision of meters.Through a electronic maps ,we can know exactly where the items is .The whole system is consist of a RFID system,laptops,integrated UHF RFID reader,UHF RFID tags.The integrated UHF RFID reader will install on the forklift and the entrance,as long as the items has been picked up,the data of the tags attached to the items  will be captured and uploaded to the system.

A logistics company in YanTian,ShenZhen,has adopted this system.

To improve the accuracy,they build a grid in the warehouse and the transportation zone.

Within 1 meters distance,they bury a UHF RFID tag in the ground,encoding the location information.The whole tags will form a map network,when the forklift will scan the tags.The information like the location and items will upload to the system at the same time.
