The advantage of RFID

2021-12-23

Rfid technology can be widely applied to a number of industries and fields, there must be its "superior".

In terms of its external form, the carrier of RFID technology is generally waterproof, antimagnetic, high temperature resistance and other characteristics, to ensure the stability of RFID technology in application.  In terms of its use, RFID has advantages in updating data in real time, storing information, service life, work efficiency, safety and other aspects.  Rfid can reduce manpower, material and financial resources under the premise of more convenient update of the existing information, so that the work is more convenient;  Radio frequency identification technology based on computer information storage, up to a few megabytes, can be stored information, to ensure the smooth work;  Rfid technology has a long service life and can be reused as long as workers pay attention to protection when using it;  Radio frequency identification technology has changed the former information processing is not convenient, to achieve multiple targets can be identified at the same time, greatly improve the work efficiency;  Rfid has password protection at the same time, not easy to be forged, high security.  Parallel technology and radio frequency identification technology is one of the traditional bar code technology, the traditional bar code technology in the update information, storage information, service life, efficiency, safety, the rfid technology is poor, can't well adapt to the current needs of social development in our country, is also difficult to meet the needs of the industry and related fields.

disadvantages

(1) Technology maturity is not enough.  RFID technology has a short history and is not very mature in technology.  Uhf RFID electronic tags are difficult to be used in metal, liquid and other commodities because of their reflective characteristics.

(2) High cost.  RFID electronic tags are relatively expensive compared with ordinary bar code labels, which are dozens of times higher than ordinary bar code labels. If the usage is large, the cost will be too high, which to a large extent reduces the enthusiasm of the market to use RFID technology.

(3) The security is not strong enough.  RFID technology is faced with security problems mainly manifested as RFID electronic tag information is read illegally and malicious tampering.

(4) Technical standards are not unified.
