At first,mostly of us would wonder why should we adopt the RFID technology?Simply speaking this’s the benefits:
*Reduce labor cost.With the support of RFID ,the process like the pick,pack,ship could be much easier handled.
*Efficient inventory management.It means that fast locating of items,flexible delivery to the right shelf and visibility of accurate real-time information.
*High customer satisfaction. Right items is delivered to the right person in right time.
So how it works?
As we know,the foundation of AI is data.so it’s the RFID .
RFID enabled systems collect data on the performance of the entire warehouse timely,like the status(inventory,expiration date),time ,location(accurate to which goods shelf),
Encoding information:manufacture date,shelf life,expiration dates,lots&batch,serial number,,user,location on production line,vendor(Time,location,Organization).With such data,we could do decide which kind of items should be shipped to which place ,at which time!
The daily routine would be like this:
*Door(Entry&Exit).
Fixed RFID reader,Antenna,UHF RFID gate ,UHF Blank RFID label(Print on site).
When the item arrive the warehouse,passing through the gate then we could know which items has arrived.(Left)Not like the barcode should be scanned one by one ,eye contacts is a must. With RFID,each item Will be read all at once,if the RFID reader and antenna are properly installed beside the doors.
*Conveyor belt&Forklift

Through the belt and forklift ,we could ship the items quickly in the warehouse,find the right shelf for the items.Even in the belt ,we could encode the information also ,the place where we have place it to.
*Pallet.

This’s for the easily identified and ship.We could put the same items in a pallet,then using a RFID label mark it.
*Shelf.

Cigarette in factory.
As we know even a factory will produce different level,according to the different tobacco types,cuttings,aromas and other additives,different packaging also!
If still use the barcode or a man to handle it,we should handle it one by one,both of this 2 methods need eye contacts.And if we use the RFID technology,everything would change.
The working routing would be like this:
The moment the tobacco arrives the factory will be encoded the information like the country of origin,when arrives and the level.The follow-up process like the cutting,aromas,other additives,packaging,as long as the process has finished,useing the reader/writer which has installed along the side of transmission band ,encoding the process result into it.
Simply speaking,the RFID technology offer a flexible ways to encoding every details of the information like the manufacture date,shelf life,expiration dates,lots&batch,serial number,,user,location on production line,vendor(Time,location,Organization).It’s much easier to upload the information to the internet,based on this,the items could be shipped to right place in the right time.
